Supported by an educational grant from Janssen Therapeutics, Division of Janssen Products, LP.
Program Overview
Information about COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 variants, and associated vaccines are being constantly updated as the scientific and health care communities strive to control this pandemic. As a result, overwhelmed health care workers might find it hard to keep up with relevant information. This is further complicated by the relatively slow pace of the peer-review system and the abundance of contradictory media stories. Therefore, there is a continued need for the development of up-to-date education materials to ensure healthcare workers can appropriately care for their patients.
This educational activity will familiarize clinicians with the impact of the COVID-19 vaccines on the immune system and their effectiveness against new and existing variants, as well as the review recommendations for the vaccination of special populations.
